Hello Instagram!

The wait is over for me… I have finally upgraded from a non-existing Blackberry to the newest edition of the iPhone, the iPhone 5. I am so unbelievably in love with it, it’s ridiculous. Coming from a Blackberry, really anything at this point will be mind-blowing. But having plenty of Mac products, I have had my heart set on this phone for ages (or just since my last upgrade). Phones these days are insane, the things they can do is unreal. It’s so little and thin, yet it works so quickly and at the blink of an eye I have the answer to any question that I could possibly think of. Pure amazement.

Not only have been anxiously and impatiently awaiting my new iPhone, but I have been dying to get on Instagram. And today I am happy to announce that this girl is finally on Instagram! I find Instagram to be such a fun and creative app, I could seriously look at it for hours. It’s even more addicting to me than Pinterest!

Can’t wait to hear from you!

Hello E-Vanity! Back again!

I have been so excited all summer to get back to work with E-Vanity! Only a couple weeks after being back in North Dakota, I was privileged to be chosen as a model for one of their Shop By Outfit photo shoots. Each shoot I do with them gets better and better, and is always such a fun way to start my day.

Here are the pictures from my latest shoot!

You can shop what outfits I’m wearing here and here!

Until next time, E-Vanity!

Hello ‘SU TV, Meet Market America!

I am SO ecstatic to show you all one of my favorite moments of being a Market America business owner so far. My good friend & business partner, Emmalee and myself were selected for an interview by our campus’ tv station on what it is like to be young entrepreneurs and what Market America is all about. We was so happy to share with her what we do, how we change lives, and how others can get involved.

Below is the final interview:

Drag to 8 minutes and 55 seconds

I have never been happier in my life. I have finally found my niche and am able to help others in all aspects of their lives, which is what I’ve always truly wanted to do. I am in charge of my own success and I promise you that I am on my way to the top. I’m putting the pedal to the metal and I’m not looking back.

Feeling inspired. Feeling blessed.

Hello French Bridal!

Today’s post is short and sweet, but mostly sweet. Below are pictures from a French-inspired, bridal inspirational photo shoot that I had done earlier this summer. I couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out. After looking through these photos, I was really able to notice how much I have grown in the past couple years not only as a woman but as a model.

Here are a few (or all) of favorites:

Feeling proud of myself.

Hello Fall!

I always thought that summer was my favorite season of the year. The beaches, boating, and beautiful sunny weather… what more can you ask for?! But after living in practically paradise (San Diego), I noticed this odd excitement for the upcoming fall and even winter weather. It was the craziest feeling ever, I tell you what. But I realized how beautiful the seasons are and how lucky we are to experience them like we do. Of course some seasons are better and less miserable than others, but all in all, each is special in its own way.

Fall is wonderful for giving us breezy (but still somewhat warm) weather and not to mention the most gorgeous leaves that color themselves bright golds, rich reds, and deep plums. We are finally given back the option to wear scarves, boots, knee-high socks, mittens, and hats again. These are my go-to items to totally complete your fall outfit.. and keep you comfortable.

My absolute favorite part of this time of year is all of the lattes that come out. I cannot explain to you how obsessed I am with the seasonal drinks, specifically Starbucks seasonal drinks. My top picks are most definitely the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Eggnog Latte, and the Salted Carmel White Chocolate Mocha, just to name a few.

I cannot wait to cuddle up next to the fireplace (which I do not have, but I will pretend that I do), throw my leg warmers on, grab a movie, some pumpkin bread, a hot chocolate and call it a day. I hope you guys do the same.

Hello! I’m Back!

Hi readers!

Nice to see, or rather, talk to you all again. I’ve been MIA (missing in action) for a while, but I am back now for good. It has been absolutely crazy getting my life organized and back on track. But now that all is settled I have wanted to do nothing but send another blog your way. I actually JUST got more pictures back from the bridal photo shoots that I had done earlier this summer. They turned out amazing and I am so excited to share them with you!

Here are some of my favorites from The Posh Knot shoot:

Thank you for being so patient with me and giving me time for a personal break.

I’m re-energized now and ready to hit the ground running.

Love you all.

Hello Home, Sweet, Home!

I’ve been in California for a little over a month, and I can tell you that I’ve never been more proud than to tell everyone where I’m from. I realize how much being raised in North Dakota has transformed me into the person I am today. I have morals and goals, an amazing work ethic to go along with great discipline. North Dakota has made me into a sweet young lady, but one that doesn’t take disrespect from anyone. I am so blessed to be from North Dakota, and that’s not something everything North Dakotan goes through.

I’ve always wanted to be surrounded by the palm trees and the beaches, and I’m not going to lie, California is like paradise. But I’ve grown to appreciate the beauty of my home. The beautiful North Dakota blue skies, green, green grasses, spotted with decorative golden hay bails.

It’s been a wonderful experience here in California, but I can tell you that I cannot wait to come home.

So with that being said… Never forget where you came from no matter where life takes you. Because where you came from is who you are.

Hello Posh Knot!

I was honored to be a part of The Posh Knot’s most recent inspiration shoot. An [bridal] inspiration shoot is when all kinds of vendors come together and contribute their skills to make up a scene from a wedding. Johnique [Event Planner and Founder of The Posh Knot – check out her other work here] created a Blue Vintage shoot decorated with feathers, roses, pastels, and antiques. I was so happy to be asked to model in her shoot and help compose her vision. I wanted to share a few pictures from the photo shoot with you. [More to come!!]

I know one thing – San Diego is treating me right.

Hello Beautiful!

My roommate, Nikki, and I were bored one night so what else is there to do but play with make-up (duh)! She looked unbelievably gorgeous that we just HAD to go somewhere. So we moseyed our way to a nice dinner at The Cheesecake Factory (with the addition of some red velvet cheesecake– it was fantastic ps). The pictures below are of my beautiful model on a beautiful evening.

Isn’t she amazing?

Hello San Diego!

I’m back!!! 2 weeks ago my brother and boyfriend decided to take the journey of driving to California with me. It took us 2 full days, 8 states, and one last minute gorgeous hotel room (we lucked out big time) to get us here. We had a wonderful vacation the 3 of us, along with my new roommates (family members) running around this crazy city they call San Diego.

Since they’ve left, I’ve been working hard to get myself all settled into this new place of which I absolutely love so far. It’s been such a change of pace from North Dakota, but a nice one at that. I just thought I’d share some of the exciting times we had during our ‘vk’.

Acai bowl… my new favorite. Super delicious – fruit and granola topped with no guilt. Mmm mmm.

Surf Monkey!!

Mount Soledad

In action on the rollercoaster, ha.

Check back to see more of the exciting experiences I have during the summer; = )
